STORYBIRD

Storybird is a 2.0 tool, developed by the Canadian Mark Ury, that allows us to create stories, narratives from images that are ordered and classified by categories. In addition, it offers the possibility of building stories collaboratively that can be shared on the network. The application has different profiles for teachers and students. To use Storybird, firstly we need to register. Once the story is finished, we can publish and share it from the "Publish this Storybird" option or embed it in our website or blog. In addition to creating stories, Storybird works as a storytelling social network where you can follow other users and read their illustrated stories. Storybird is ideal for students to work on important areas such as creativity, written expression and reading comprehension, which is why different areas of Basic Education are very useful. Also, you can use Storybird to motivate your students to read and share the stories created, so that they look at all possible literary paths.
